The only thing good about this company is their sales reps. Once you're in you're not valued as a client.

I work for a small property management company that was pretty much just starting out. We'd had quite a few issues with a copy machine we'd bought second hand so we were on the market for a new or better one at least. Saxon's sales representative happened to come in that month and we ultimately ended up buying a xerox machine from them and entering a 2 year contract.

Through our tenure we've had far more bad experiences than good ones. Initially when it came time to change the toner (which is covered under their contract) they shipped one out via Fedex and billed us for the shipping rather than having someone drop it off at no extra expense to us. Also they have had continuous problems with keeping our machine connected to the network so that our office could function smoothly. It took many visits to our office and far many more phone calls to their office to identify our problem let alone fix it (they still haven't fixed it).

Through all the issues we then started looking for ways to get out of our contract. we knew it was only a 2-year contract so we knew that it was close to expiring. When we got to the paperwork we noticed that we were a month over our contract's expiration date so we then called Saxon's office looking to cancel. We assumed that it rolled over to month to month status once the contract was over. After calling their customer service division they sent us an email with a snapshot of the contract where it states on the back in very fine print that the contract is automatically renewed for another year if we do not give 30 days notice of our intention to cancel. So essentially this was their attempt to lock us into another dreadful year or so with their horrendous service.

We knew this had to be wrong. There was no way legally that they could do this. It just felt very wrong. How could they write such an auto-renew clause that essentially stripped consumer rights away from the consumer? And even worse, without explicit notice of such a clause. Our company then started investigating and came across Florida statutes that prohibit these tactics that Saxon employs in order to retain clients by means of hostage. Ultimately, we sent them word that we were aware of the laws that they violated and enumerated each of them. Saxon finally canceled our contract once they saw that we were ready to fight them with the law on our side. They never even sent us a formal notice of cancellation, we had to call back in to make sure that they'd read our emails and understood our intentions. Only then did they even bother to mention to us that our contract was cancelled. We were due a refund because of their violations that rendered their auto-renewed contract null and void and stipulated that we were due the funds (and we notified them thereof) however, they never bothered to adhere to that statute either probably because they knew that it'd cost us more money to pursue it rather than to let it go. Our company ultimately decided to not pursue it because it was in fact a too small amount to be troubled over but still its very disingenuous of them.

Because of the horrendous service we received and how we were able to get out of their contract, we've decided to write a review explaining all of this so that other possible clients would perhaps be discouraged by the unfortunate way that Saxon does business and also to make others trapped by their schemes aware that there are laws that Saxon is violating that offers room for termination of their illicit contracts.

See my co-worker's review for the specific statues that Saxon violated and what they said exactly under Property Manager Barzey Management.

I hope it helps other clients in distress with this despicable company.

One of the best experience buying a printer. Highly recommend this company if you want your printing and copy needs addressed. Most importantly for the printer to always work.
